Name: Daedalus and Khrysaor (the twin daggers)
Appearance:
Description: Daedalus and Khrysaor are very old indeed. They’ve been passed down from ancient times, made by wizards seeking to destroy dragons. They are made from the two sharpest fangs of a young dragon (for what can kill a dragon except another dragon?) and were carved down into their current shape. Daedalus and Khrysaor can cut through anything and never go dull.
Daedalus is a dagger of light. Used without Khrysaor, it can illuminate any darkness and heal injuries with a touch.
Khrysaor is a dagger of darkness. Used without Daedalus, it can conceal the master if he remains still. Even though it is more powerful then Daedalus (when they’re used separately), it tends to influence the master to do evil. One should not use Khrysaor alone too much if he wishes to remain good.
When Daedalus and Khrysaor are used together, they are infinitely powerful and extremely lethal.
They can only be used by a person that they deem worthy. Once they choose a person, they become a part of them and will not fight for anyone else unless their master dies and they choose someone else, or the master gives them as a gift. If given as a gift, they will not work as efficiently as when their master wields them.
Bio: One morning, after getting extremely drunk the night before, Lorcan woke up inside a cave. He decided that while he was there, he might as well look for treasure. When he went deep into the cave, he fell into a chasm (luckily he didn’t get too badly injured from the fall). He stood up and found himself in a strange room; Lorcan figured it to be some kind of study from ancient times. There were shelves upon shelves of books and scrolls. When he looked up on the highest shelf, under a huge stack of parchment, he found a box engraved in silver with strange symbols. When he opened the box, he saw Daedalus and Khrysaor. The daggers seemed to sing for him to take them (they had chosen him as master) so he took them. The twin daggers enhanced his already perfect fighting. Lorcan keeps them in his wrist sheaths at all times.
